Is JSF part of Java EE?
Updated: July 17, 2008

JSF 1.0 is not part of Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE). JSF 1.2, however, is part of Java EE 5, and JSF 2.0 will be part of Java EE 6. This means that any application server that is compliant with Java EE 5.0 or higher will include a version of JSF.
