Developing Agile Applications With SOA in Oracle JDeveloper
Posted: September 12, 2005Published: November 1, 2004

Developers have many choices for developing the presentation layer of an SOA application. For web applications, two MVC design pattern implementations have emerged: Apache Struts, and JavaServer Faces. Both implementations separate business and presentation logic and allow developers to create agile applications which extract navigation and data flow from the JSP pages themselves, making the application easy to maintain. This paper discusses both design patterns and how to create an application in Oracle JDeveloper using either technology.
